Oak Brook Polo Club
Oak Brook was founded on polo after Frank Osgood Butler established the first polo ground in the Chicago area. The tradition was passed on through the Butler family and in 1922 Paul Butler formed the Oak Brook Polo Club. The club was made up of five polo grounds and was able to house 60 horses.
Today, the Oak Brook Polo Club is the home to 13 polo grounds, 400 horses and a horse showground. Spectators can even fly right to the grounds.
